Itinerary
Day 1 Calgary
Arrive Calgary International Airport and independently make your way to your hotel.
Day 2 Calgary to Brooks
A short drive just east of the city and the landscape is dramatically transformed. Drumheller is known world-wide for its massive fossil fields set amongst a dramatic landscape of wind-shaped rock formations.
Day 3 Brooks to Waterton
In the morning, you are treated to a visit Dinosaur Provincial Park. Continue on to Waterton set in the middle of Waterton Lakes Provincial Park - a spectacular park that features some of the best hiking in the country.
Day 4 Waterton
We suggest planning to spend the day exploring the park. Day trails offer easy to moderate routes that take you incredible natural settings. Alternately, you may independently book a cruise on the lake.
Day 5 Waterton Lakes to Fernie
Head west today over the provincial border to British Columbia. Arriving in Fernie, take some time to explore this outdoor adventure hub that boasts hiking, biking, a summer farmers’ markets and outdoor art displays.
Day 6 Fernie to Nelson
Today travel farther into the British Columbia interior, continue on to the small city of Nelson on the west arm of Kootenay Lake, where outdoor bistros of the Victorian downtown serve up local delights amongst compelling scenery.
Day 7 Nelson to Osoyoos
Today the road leads along the Canadian / United States border and the small towns that dot the highway. Continue on to arrive in Osoyoos and relax for the evening in this pleasant lakefront community.
Day 8 Osoyoos
Beach-lovers rejoice a day at the waterside under the sun on the shores of Osoyoos Lake rivals any oceanfront destination. Tour-friendly winery estates are set astride lush vineyards next to the arid landscapes.
Day 9 Osoyoos to Vancouver
Heading over your last mountain range en route to the coast, you may wish to stop at the popular Harrison Hot Springs. Continuing westward, arrive in the bustling metropolis of Vancouver.
Day 10 Vancouver
In a metropolis unique coastal city, take the day and explore the city independently at your own leisure and to your own tastes there is something for everyone!
Day 11 Vancouver
Make your way to Vancouver International Airport for your return journey home.
