Itinerary
Day 1 Arrive in Calgary
A transfer will pick you up from the airport and take you to the pretty mountain town of Banff. Overnight in Banff.
Day 2 Banff to Kamloops
Today, step aboard the Rocky Mountaineer to head west and enjoy some of the most spectacular sights in western Canada. Overnight in Kamloops.
Day 3 - 4 Kamloops to Vancouver
The journey leads through the “cowboy country” ranch land of British Columbia passing lush forests. Enjoy two nights in Vancouver, one of Canada’s
most diverse cities.
Day 5 - Vancouver to Alaska cruise with Holland America Line
Arrive independently at the cruise terminal at Vancouver’s picturesque Canada Place. Your cruise departs at 5pm.
Day 6 Scenic Cruising of the Inside Passage
The Inside Passage is an enchanting scenic waterway stretching from Vancouver to Alaska, including some of Alaska’s beautiful islands along the way.
Day 7 Cruise Tracy Arm en route to Juneau, Alaska
Enjoy the sight of the majestic Sawyer Glacier enroute to Juneau, Alaska’s capital city where you will enjoy your first stop. Night at sea.
Day 8 Skagway, Alaska
Arrive in Skagway, a historical town where you can spend the day discovering the fascinating Gold Rush stories. Night at sea.
Day 9 Glacier Bay
Enjoy a day of cruising through the astounding Glacier Bay. Keep your camera handy – it’s a wildlife lover’s dream with Humpback and Killer whales frequently spotted.
Day 10 Ketchikan, Alaska
Arrive in Ketchikan. Circled by lush green landscape and mountains sprouting out of the waters, the area is breathtakingly beautiful. Explore the historical town.
Day 11 Scenic Cruising of the Inside Passage
Returning to Vancouver you will cruise back down the scenic Inside Passage. Keep your eyes peeled for the enchanting wildlife en route.
Day 12 Vancouver
Arrive at 7am. Spend time exploring the sights of this beautiful coastal city. Enjoy some souvenir shopping before heading to the airport for your flight home.
ESTA online application for entry to the USA
Important: All cruise passengers must complete the online Visa Waiver form by visiting https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov which is needed for entry into the US at a cost of $21 per person.
You must complete an ESTA application at least 72 hours before flying. Any traveller who fails to complete an ESTA application at least 3 days before departure will almost certainly be refused entry into the country under new US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations. If you are even considering visiting the States, it's worth filling out an ESTA application now as they are valid for two years. Important: If you are refused entry because you do not hold the correct travel documents or have had your application for ESTA rejected - you will NOT be entitled to any form of refund or covered by your travel insurance policy.
