Itinerary
Day 1 Los Angeles, California
There's so much to do and enjoy in the exciting city of LA so why not allow yourself a few extra nights by extending your stay either at the start or at the end of your cruise. You can relax on Santa Monica’s white sandy beach, take a drive round exclusive Beverley Hills or head onto Hollywood boulevard to see the legendary Grauman’s Chinese Theater with all the handprints and footprints of the famous stars. If a day of action packed adventure is more your thing, enjoy the thrilling theme park rides and shows and real working movie studio of Universal Studios Hollywood and some of the best shopping in LA, restaurants and cinemas at CityWalk. Alternatively you may wish to brave the roller coasters of Anaheim at the Disneyland resorts and Knotts Berry Farm. Transfer independently to board your NCL cruise ship for a seven-night cruise of the Mexican Riviera, ship departs at 4pm. Overnight on board.
Day 2 At sea
A leisurely first day allows you to take advantage of the cruise ship’s facilities and entertainment with a day spent at sea.
Day 3 Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
Located on the southernmost tip of the Baja Peninsula, Cabo San Lucas is often referred to as Land’s End with the Sea of Cortez on one shore and the Pacific Ocean on the other. Time has moved on since John Steinbeck wrote about it in 1940 but it’s just as appealing today as it was then as it has transformed into one of Mexico's most exclusive, sought after resorts. Today's Cabo is a golden headland of luxury hotel rooms, excellent restaurants and all the activities you could possibly wish for. Optional excursions cater for all tastes and a trip back in time takes you on a journey of contrasting coastal scenery to the small town of Todos Santos which means “All Saints.” You’ll have time to walk around the old Jesuit mission, explore the small shops and visit the famous Hotel California, the inspiration for the Eagles’ hit back in 1969. For a real thrill, there’s a chance to head into the pool for an up close and personal experience with Bottlenose dolphins as you interact and learn all about these incredible marine mammals. Overnight on board.
Day 4 Mazatlan, Mexico
Known as the “Pearl of the Pacific’, Mazatlan delivers an intriguing mix of 19th century mansions with alluring sandy beaches and is buzzing with art galleries, cafés and restaurants. A favourite holiday spot since the 1940s, today’s resort manages to combine elegance and sophistication with a laid-back friendly atmosphere. With its impressive maze of cobblestone streets, the historic old town is dominated by the soaring 19th-century Basilica and due to recent restoration, the result is a city that knows how to eat well, play hard and remains just a short walk from those appealing beaches. Enjoy a day to yourselves to take in the city’s culture, relax on the beach or take part in one of the excursions available. Overnight on board.
Day 5 Puerto Vallarta, Mexico
Stretching around the sparkling emerald waters of Bahía de Banderas with a stunning backdrop of the lush palm trees of the Sierra Madre mountains, Puerto Vallarta is one of Mexico’s liveliest and most sophisticated hot spots. The atmosphere of the original colonial town still prevails through an endless supply of shops, art galleries, entertainment and nightlife with its cobblestone streets, graceful cathedral and welcoming atmosphere. Relax on one of its many dazzling, sandy beaches or take in the bustling atmosphere from the fabled Malecón - the lively promenade or experience the town in all its glory on one of the optional excursions available. Alternatively if you want to slow the pace down a little, head into the heart of the Sierra Madre Mountains on a tour to the 17th century mining town of San Sebastian. Overnight on board.
Day 6 - 7 At sea
With two days at sea, this is the perfect opportunity to take advantage of your ship’s excellent facilities. Work up an appetite in the fitness centre or on one of the sports courts or take a dance class before choosing from a choice of the main dining rooms or more casual eateries. If you want to slow the pace down a little then indulge yourself in some spa treatments and at the end of the day, relax in one of the many bars and lounges, settle in for some big name entertainment from Broadway shows to musical spectaculars or enjoy a flutter on one of the casino games. Overnight on board.
Day 8 Los Angeles, California
Disembark your ship on arrival at the port of LA. Additional nights are available should you wish to extend your stay. Independent transfer to LAX airport for your return flight home.

You got it – the "endless" buffets offer indoor and outdoor seating with made-to-order omelettes and pasta dishes, fresh salads and much, much more. Plus, there are casual grills by the pool, 24-hour eateries with your favourite comfort foods, lively sports bars, kid's cafés and of course dining à la pyjamas with room service.
