In the area
The town of Banff is leisurely walk down Banff Avenue, or there is a regular shuttle bus from the hotel if you prefer.
On the way into to town you will pass the start of the Legacy Trail, a paved trail through the mountains and great for a bike ride. Nearby is also the start of the Tunnel Mountain hike, an easy 3km trail with spectacular panoramic views.
Banff is a lively little town with plenty of bars, restaurants and boutiques as well as museums such as the Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies and several galleries to browse in.
