The hotel is a short fifteen minute walk into the centre of Banff, which has a good selection of shops and restaurants, as well as several galleries and museums, including the Canadian Ski Museum, the fascinating Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies, and the historic Banff Park Museum.
Take a stroll along the pretty paved trail that follows the Bow River or take a drive ten minutes south of town to the Cave and Basin National Historic Site, home to the naturally occurring warm mineral springs and known as the birthplace of Canada’s National Park system
