On the other side of the airport, the Aerospace Museum of Calgary houses an interesting collection of aeroplanes and memorabilia, while across the highway lies Nose Hill Park, a naturally wild park with some lovely walks through the different habitats and the chance to spot some wild deer and coyotes.
A fifteen minute drive will take you to the northern outskirts of the city and attractions such as Calgary Zoo and the fascinating Telus Spark Science Centre, while a few more minutes and you will arrive in the heart of downtown Calgary for excellent shopping and a multitude of fantastic restaurants.
