In the area
Your first stop of course must be a walk to view the beautiful Sunwapta Falls, just a few minutes from the hotel. ‘Sunwapta’ means turbulent and as you watch the frothy water cascading down the 60 foot drop, the name makes perfect sense.
There are also several hiking trails from the hotel, to the nearby Honeymoon Lake and Beauty Creek among others, and you may even spot some local wildlife along the way including bears, elk and moose.
The hotel has three pre-planned sightseeing tours of some of the best attractions in the area, and is also happy to plan tailor-made tours for guests.
