It is a short walk into downtown Yellowknife which has a selection of shops and restaurants, and there are several pretty trails around the town’s lakes, which increase in length, from the gentle 1km Range Lake trail to the 2km nature trail around Niven Lake with some of the best bird watching in the area and the 5km network of trails that circle Frame Lake.
